Where it started

My mom and my grandma are both fashion designers. I grew up visiting their boutiques and production sites, learning about materials, construction, and the business behind the clothes. I started sewing my own pieces at 13 and kept at it for years — understanding fashion from the inside out.

That foundation shapes how I see everything. Whether I'm photographing textiles in Peru, writing about the fashion industry, or thinking about what I want to build — it always comes back to materials, craft, and the people behind the work.
